Tenns machine says “do not use in labour” why?

I’ve always been told you can use any type of tenns machine for labour, sports or a standard one. Not just a pregnancy one but mine says on the box “do not use in labour” why is this?

That’s weird  My doctor says I can use mine all through pregnancy. And I also heard of ppl using it during labor... interesting
