Am I the only one who HATES the word attached?

My BF told me he is attached to me and I don't know, I just didn't like hearing it, not sure why. I know I want to stay with him, and we havealready planned parts of our future and I love him to death.  but I 
just hate that word I guess.  Am I the only one?  Let me know ladies and if you hate it too, why don't you like it?

Lol I don’t have much of a problem with that word but I used to HATE the word depressed lol I guess just associated with bad experiences and relationships
