Acid Reflux - When does it end???

Question

My baby is 11 weeks and has acid reflux. I’m losing my mind as he barely sleeps and is fussy. We keep him upright after feeds, burp often, etc. but I basically can get nothing done or rest. I need hope! When did your babies finally outgrow reflux?!

My son still has reflux episodes at 2 years old. Medication like ranitidine can help ease the discomfort.As baby gets older, it can managed with a good diet and proper feeding habits.  I suggest talking to the pediatrician asap to help baby as reflux is not fun picnic.

My twins are 16wks old and both reflux. It hasn't gone away but it has gotten better (no more overnight choking & puking). One of the twins is on acid to help with the acid and protect her esophagus. We trird rice cereal and Spit up formulas but nothing worked. We are just waiting it out and doing lots od laundry. Pack extra clothes for YOU & baby if you have to go out. Good luck 👍
