Second time Mamas - faster labor!?

Does labor really progress faster? Baby comes out faster?
My first labor was already pretty quick. With my son I labored for 14 hours at home, until I had the urge to push. Then we raced to the hospital (5 mins away) and when they checked I was 9.5cm. I pushed him out in 20 minutes, no epidural, just like I wanted.
 My OB said to come to the hospital “earlier” this time, to avoid having the baby in the car 😳 
Everything felt very fast the first time... So now I am stressing about when to leave for the hospital once the contractions begin. Aiming for another epidural-free labor.

I had my little girl on Tuesday (due December 9) and my labor was definitely faster! My son is one so they are 12 months apart, and I feel like my pregnancy progressed quickly since I didn’t get much of a break. With my son I was in labor for about 5 hours (induced) and pushed for 30 minutes. With my daughter my water broke on it’s own at 8pm Monday. We headed to the hospital immediately since my contractions were starting. At 12:30am I started feeling pressure like I had to push. At 12:37 the doctor came in and told me to push and she was out at 12:39! It was insane! My body knew exactly what it was doing! If I didn’t have an epidural, they think she would have come out faster.
