Anyone had success with acupuncture?

Hey ladies...My hubby and I have been TTC our first child for 19 months and counting.  We got on the baby dancing wagon a little later in life (I’m 39 and he’s 46) and I was worried our age is throwing a wrench in things.  Turns out his swimmers are top notch but I got news this past week that my AMH is high and I probably have PCOS.  I am having a hard time accepting this diagnosis because I do not have any of the other “usual” symptoms.  Before diving into hard core drugs, I want to try and help our situation with more natural treatments.  I found an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility and am going for my first visit on Tuesday.  Just curious...anybody else tried acupuncture and/or Chinese herbs to combat PCOS and get pregnant?

Read 'It Starts with the Egg' - it summarizes a lot of current research on how to improve fertility through supplements and other alternative treatment including for ladies with PCOS.  
I started trying when I was 38 and moved onto IVF at 40.  After 2 failed attempts, I instituted a 90 day preparation with DHEA (25mg x 3/d), Ubiquinol (100mg x 3/d), Bioclinic's Opti Ova supplement and acupuncture.   My response to IVF 3 was a significant improvement and I'm now 20w with a healthy singleton and we have 1 blast on ice.   My SO was not an issue but my RE said that due to age, my egg quality and count was likely the problem and I believe that the 90 day prep combined with a change of treatment protocol (to estrogen priming) made all the difference. I spent £2000 on chinese medicine and acupuncture but in the end I went back to the doc and opted for meds. There’s loads of case studies where Chinese medicine works well but it depends on the severity of the case and whether you need drugs alongside it to work properly. Good luck!

tried it and it did nothing for me.... in proper studies it has shown zero benefit. I wouldn't both wasting your money. the best thing you can do beyond medication is to be healthy, exercise and nutrition. good luck xxx
