Question about Semen Taste

I've read that depending on what the guy eats it can change the "flavoring" of his semen. E.g. if the guy is a smoker or eats a lot of red meat there's an acrid taste and, on the otherhand, if he eats a lot of fruit (especially pineapple) the taste will be more pleasant.

This is going to be a weird question: I'm seeing someone who has cancer or rather he's finished his chemo and is just taking other medicines. Does anyone know whether his semen will potentially have a "bad taste"?
