He had told me he wanted to marry me a million times before proposing but when he actually proposed I was still in absolute shock. He started by making me mad for whatever reason. Then he took me too a plaza I had never been to.  His fam was already and I was under the impression we were celebrating a birthday. First, my husband had me run through the fountain with him

Apparently, we're not supposed to do so there (back in my home state we had one meant to play in). He knew and I didn't. His goal was to drum up a lot of attention and he succeeded because I straight busted my ass

and the cop came over with a warning...  he wasn't amused... anyways we went to a table near the fountain lots of eyes still on us.. and one of his sisters pulls out a speaker and is playing lots of love songs. I'm confused af but then love story by Taylor Swift comes on. And I zone out and start jamming a little

and my mans singing with me. I was so into our duet sesh that I didn't even notice the cameras coming out and him getting ready. He drops down on the part were the boy comes back to marry Juliette. Except he sings marry me Gabrielle and after that part he asks. I'm so in shock I thought he was kidding so I'm like "stop playing with me"

then he slid that ring on and asked me again so I know he's serious and I said yes all excited and what not. Then we went for gelato to top it off. It was cute  and I guess I just didn't expect my man to be serious long enough to give me a proposal like that and he's not very creative so I didn't think he'd think things through to make it cute but he showed me. He planned the whole thing that day too!

and I always told him that I wanted to be proposed to in Disney World so when he surprised me with a trip to Disney World on my birthday I kind of knew what was going to happen

One day I woke up and my first thought was that I wanted to propose to my amazing man. So I planned things and got a custom made arrow for him with a white gold tip (purely decorative) because he won’t wear jewellery and we love archery. Two months later we were in the bush shooting arrows, no one in sight, so I proposed! He said yes and after it sunk in that he didn’t get to ask he was very relieved that he would never know the stress of it. I’m so glad I did! He thought you had to wait a set time before proposing so I would have had to wait 8 more months if I wanted him to do it! We ended up getting married around the time he thought it would have been appropriate to propose and a year and a half later we are happier than ever 💕
