FTM, exclusively BF my 8 w/o. Is this normal behavior?

My 8 week old son is exclusively breastfed and most days it’s a struggle to get him to go two hours without eating. Often I find him wanting to eat every 30min to 1.5 hours. At night, he usually goes ~2.5 to 3.5 hours between feeds. He’s gaining weight just fine. Is this normal feeding behavior?

When should I expect him to be able to go longer between feeds during the AM and PM? I’m worried when he goes to daycare at 13 weeks old that he will drive them bonkers wanting to eat all damn day and fight naps 😫🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
