Is 2 months of dating too early for a promise ring?

We’ve known each other for a year but, we only started talking romantically in August and made it official in October. And now, he’s saying that in December, he gonna get me a promise ring. I love him and he loves me but, is it too early for a promise ring? ( we’re also in a long distant relationship. )

Only if you think it’s too early! But I think it’s sweet he wants to get you one, it’ll be something to remind you of him since it’s a long distance relationship. It’s not an engagement ring. My boyfriend got me one as a promise of his commitment and love and that someday he’ll replace it with an engagement ring.
