We’ve been trying for a while now

Jessica
We’ve been trying for a while now. I’ve been off birth control for 2 years and was sometimes more in tune with timing than others. I was really more diligently tracking ovulation after a little over a year, first just through CM then 8 months trying OPKs and finally temping. My CD3 blood work this month was mostly good but my estrogen was <10 so I figured it would be another anovulatory month. I ovulate less than 50% of the time according to OPKs. This month I was on a disaster relief trip in Puerto Rico for the entire week leading up to my ovulation. I didn’t get back until the day I ovulated so we only had one shot. I had basically no hope that we were pregnant because we’ve tried much more in past months, and I didn’t get a positive opk this month either, though I was struggling to be consistent at tracking while in Puerto Rico. But I noticed this month my CM seemed much more fertile and wondered if maybe I really did ovulate. Then I went to get my progesterone checked. Due to the holiday and work, I could only go on dpo 4. But my progesterone was 18! I was amazed. The only change I made this month was switching to whole milk. I am a dairy fan for sure, and I always drank skim, but after reading a study saying women drinking skim were 40% more like to skip ovulation, I switched. I don’t know if that was the key, but today I got a positive test! That’s a lot of rambling, but I’m so excited and praying that this pregnancy sticks.
