When to start shopping!! ??

So, I'm 5 weeks and I'm just falling in love with baby stuff in stores and online. How early did y'all shop?? What's the best gender nuetral stuff to buy?? My excitement won't let me wait.  lol

I already started buying diapers and wipes. I just ordered some online from babies r us for cyber Monday.

You could buy diapers, wipes, bottle set, bottle drying rack, bottle cleaner, wipe warmer (if you want that), diaper genie (if you want that), some swaddle blankets with simple designs, neutral colored socks and hats, crib, changing table, changing pad, diaper bag, breast pump (if you want that), diaper rash cream, baby bath things, etc. there's a ton of stuff you can get even baby toys lol 😚

Start shopping whenever you want. If something, god forbid, we’re to happen then you just pack the stuff away and save it for when you conceive again. I’ve always waited until after 12 weeks to buy anything but almost 2 years ago I lost a baby at 16 weeks, so I already started buying stuff. When I found out I was pregnant this time I got all the stuff out that I had bought when I lost the baby and was grateful that I had it.

I waited until we heard the heartbeat at 8 weeks and went to a consignment event and bought a bunch of clothes for both genders 😋 14 weeks now and haven’t bought much more so far

with my first I waited till 24 weeks as my mum has a history of late miscarriages (19,21 and 22 weeks as well as having my sister and brother before 32 weeks) and we didn't know if it was genetic. my second about 15 weeks and I have currently only bought one thing this time and im 16 weeks on Thursday. I just don't wanna jinx myself lol.

I did wait until the end of the first trimester. The only thing I bought before I knew the gender was a Valentine's bear and a sports team sleeper we liked. Everything else waited until we knew he was a boy. Then once we had some fun shopping to celebrate the reveal, we didn't buy anything until after the baby shower. It's fun but I do recommend waiting because if God forbid anything happened, you would not want to look at baby stuff in your home. I wouldn't have been able to handle that at all. You have PLENTY of time to stock up.
