Considering ovulation strips? READ THIS!

First, I want to say that I think this app is a great tool for TTC. It helps me track and predict a good guesstimate for when I will get my next AF. It also helps track a good guesstimate for when I will be in my fertile window. However, I want to stress the importance of the word "guesstimate." I have been using ovulation strips for a couple of months now, and every single time I have ovulated later than my Glow predicted fertile window. What does that mean? The first two months I used Glow I only 'did the deed' regularly during my Glow window. (We still did the deed otherwise, but I really focused on my window that Glow predicted). Now, knowing I am someone that ovulated late, I never had a fair shot. Both months AF came and I was crushed. Had I been using ovulation strips I would have known that I did not get an LH surge and I would have known to keep testing and trying. The first month I used ovulation strips, I got my BFP! Unfortunately, it ended as a chemical loss. However, I got a lot of useful information. I know I am ovulating, and my husband is producing the swimmers, and they are even meeting! Maybe I have implantation issues, may be not. However, I feel like I would never have got as far as I did without using ovulation strips. I have tried both CVS brand and Easy at Home (amazon). Both work well. I really recommend anyone struggling to conceive to try ovulation strips. I think they are an empowering tool that helps you on your TTC journey. :)
