Faulty OPK?

I took an opk yesterday and it was really close to being as dark as the control. I took one tonight and there is no second line at all. Is that normal after ovulation or could it be a faulty test??

I've never had an OPK have no test line at all...even after ovulation or at times when I'm not even close to ovulating I still get a faint line; however, everybody is different. If it were me, I'd assume the test was faulty and take another. If there's still no line, you should probably assume that your LH surge was between the time of your darkest test and the lighter one.
