Soooo my baby boy was very active my entire pregnancy
Soooo my baby boy was very active my entire pregnancy. At 28 weeks, I got in a small fender bender and began experiencing contractions on the monitor. I had progressed into early labor, dilating 2 cm. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days and was released after they were confident baby would stay in. Then I continued my normal activities until the morning of 11/13, when I was 31 weeks, I was laying in my bed at 6:00 when I felt a pop then a rush of water. At first I just thought I peed on myself but I couldn’t stop the water from coming. At 8:30 I finally went to triage where I was admitted for a premature rupture of membranes. I was started on magnesium and steroids to help further develop him. I was moves to high risk antepartum where I was scheduled to be induced on December 5th. However, on 11/27 I began experiencing bleeding and intense cramps. My nurses kept hooking me up the the monitors where they said they couldn’t see my contractions. Basically they kept telling me I wasnt in labor. Finally at like 12am they got a doctor to check me and I was 3cm, but they figured that I was still okay. I was in so much pain I could only cry as no position would fix my pain. At 6 in the morning the nurse suggested I take a Tylenol and take a hot shower. Not even 2 minutes into the shower I had to call my boyfriend in there because I was shaking. The nurse told me to lay back down. I was checked again and was 5 cm and was being moved to labor and delivery. I was in the process of developing an infection as my baby’s heartbeat was increasing to 170s and 180s. I progressed very fast. After receiving my epidural I had moved to 7cm then less than 40 minutes later I was 8 then after 20 minutes I was ready to push. I pushed for 30 minutes and at 11:25am I welcomed Kasen Isaiah Ali Brown to the world! I had a great delivery and would do it all again for my little man👶🏽💙
