period help!

I started my period on the 21st and it's even past it's Mark to stop. I recently fired from my job of 3 years. My mother has been telling me it's just stress and I don't feel as much stress as I did. My fiancè always gives me back rubs and shoulder rubs because he knows how stressful I got and even when I did get fired (the 14th). Back to what I was saying. the last 3 days it would come out brownish but it was light in the morning and day time and then late at night, new blood comes and that's also light.. what are your thoughts?
