Weaning????

Question

My 7 month old keeps biting me while nursing anyone know what I should do? He is too young to stop nursing right? And my body will not respond to pumping he also hates bottles. Help.

My lactation consultant stressed that if baby is latched properly they can’t bite. Maybe try adjusting latch or position. My LO bit me a few times around 9 months and I would say ouch in a loud voice and change positions with her. She stopped and hasn’t bit since and we are going on 14 months of breast feeding. My son tried bitting a few time because he was just curious. I screamed. I couldn't help it. He freaked out. After only a few times of a reaction he really didn't like, he stopped bitting. I don't usually think it's a good idea to yell at babies, but in this case it might help.
I've also read that some ladies put the baby down immediately if it bites them. They said baby gets the idea pretty quick. I never tried that though.
