New Words, Please!
Does anyone else feel uncomfortable with the phrase "losing your virginity"? I felt like I gained an experience, and "losing" sounds dirty and negative to me. Can we please come up with new terminology? The whole concept of virginity is bizarre anyway, and has been used since the beginning of time to oppress women, in particular. Thoughts?
