fibroid/polyp removal?

DH and I have been ttc for over a year for #2. i recently had a pelvic ultrasound and it showed i have a uterine growth (polyp/fibroid). My ob suggested I have it removed to help conceive. Does anyone have any experience with this? and did you get a BFP after?

yep, had a polyp removed last December. started trying this August. just got my bfp.  my doc said it'll be helpful anyway to have a fresh healthy uterus after the scrape.

I was going to have surgery to have mine removed. I was already trying to get pregnant they never told me I had one. I end up going to a OB to get things started and I was already pregnant . I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I been fine. If I still have it after my pregnancy I will get it taken of .

I have a small fibroid, i have Two kids, ttc my rainbow baby. it all depends on size and where it is. If your doctor has recommended then maybe it’s best. Good luck, baby dust ur way!

hey Kristen..
just wanted to get an update since finding out you had fibroids. I just got mine removed Fri... my doctor also feels that I might be able to conceive if it is gone... I'm hopeful!!
