I just found out my dad’s girlfriend is pregnant.... i will be 18 by the time the baby comes. Ive been an only child my whole life, aside from some step siblings i saw every other weekend (who since the divorce between their mom and my dad I haven’t seen) and a half-brother I’ve never met due to his mom. My entire life, i have wanted a sibling. Every situation I’ve had sibling wise has ended, except for my dads new girlfriend’s kids. And now she’s pregnant. This is something that I’ve always wanted, but at this point I’m practically old enough to be it’s mother. I don’t get to grow up with it, but more like help raise it. But another part of me thinks, better late than never. Has anyone else gone through becoming a sibling at an older age?
