Age gaps?

What are the age gaps between your kids? Pros and cons of that gap. I’m gonna have a 4 year gap between the girls.

My oldest and middle child are 4 years apart. This was the perfect age gap in my opinion. My oldest was old enough to understand that the baby needed a little extra attention but young enough that they’re still close in age. 
My middle and my youngest are 2 years apart and it has been awful. My middle was too young to understand what was going on and was in the throws of the “terrible twos” when my youngest came along. I don’t feel like she got enough time to be the baby before she was “replaced,” and she still gets jealous of her little brother.

My boys will be exactly one year apart. They will have the same birthday...... lets hope they grow up to be close!

my son is 8 and I'm due in January. years ago, I wanted my kids to be closer in age but now he's old enough to remember this entire experieince.

My son is 16 and I'm having a baby girl in January. Pro is that it keeps him away from making me a grandma so young, lol. After dealing with a baby sister I'm sure he wont think about having any anytime soon 😆

My oldest daughter was 5 when my son was born. She was a great helper and always wanted to be a part of everything. My son was a few days shy of being 18 months when my daughter was born. He has his moments of being affectionate with her and sharing, but he's also my stubborn child so if he doesn't want her to be a part of something he will make it known. I'm currently pregnant and my youngest will be a few weeks shy of turning 2. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to the new baby.
