Do your kids/Will your kids believe in Santa?

Question

As in, will you tell them about Santa and that he brings the good kids presents?

I don't want to do the santa thing, but then again I can tell that my kid will be that asshole who ruins it for everyone so we're just going to do santa but not make a huge deal out of it

My opinion is that I want my son to know who provides for him and that he should be grateful to have us as parents not grateful to "Santa." also it's kind of sad when Santa is able to provide great gifts to some children and not to others

my children were told santa brings them one present and tbh it's never the biggest or best one. they don't know really believe now they are older as all their friends have been told different stories lol if they have ever asked me if he's real I have always asked 'what do you think?'

Haven’t decided what I want to do yet (the little one is only one and a half).
I’m thinking of telling her it’s a make believe game. As long as she plays along, we will too.

We do Santa in my house, but Santa's gifts are basic needs or low dollar toys. Our oldest is 10 and he started questioning Santa this year, so I took him out and explained that Santa is really just a name we give to the spirit of giving and he is just reminder to be kind at this time of year, even though we should be kind all year. I told him now that he's old enough to understand that Santa isn't a person, but a spirit that inspires people to be giving, he can be Santa too. He decided to be Santa for a boy in his class who he says doesn't have the "same stuff" as everyone else. We contacted his parents to see if they celebrate and if it would be ok for our family to get him something. So, we got him some shoes and a couple little action figures. 
I wasn't really sure how it was gonna work out when he started  questioning, but it went really well. I was inspired by a post I saw on Facebook a few years ago. I don't think there is a wrong or right with this topic, just different opinions and tactics for handling it.

I was very skeptical because we teach our children not to lie but here I am teaching my child that Santa flies in a sleigh with reindeer pulling it. So I dont tell him that part. I didn't want my child going to his friends and ruining it for them.
