Bleeding a little more than spotting

I woke up this morning and there was blood in my underwear and when I peed. It wasn’t clotty but like I had my period ! I freaked out and went to the ER. They said everything with the baby looked fine and they’re calling it a threatened miscarriage. My mom said my aunt bled all four of her pregnancies. I have no idea what to think. Knock on wood it seemed to stop but idk. 10 weeks 5days.
