I chose the name Benjamin for my son me and his father love it but my family doesn't seem to agree specially my mom should i let her choose his middle name ?

I wouldnt. It is your kid. She got to name hers, it is your turn now. Doesnt really matter if she likes the names you pick, it isnt her kid.

We told people our top name choices before we finally decided on one. My mom felt like it was acceptable to tell us she didn’t like any of them, and gave us her top name choices instead. We decided that in order to save ourselves from having hear people’s opinions (good or bad) that we won’t be telling anyone the name we chose until he is born. It’s our child, and we love the name we picked. We just didn’t want to deal with people unsolicited advice on what to name our child.
