Holes in placenta/“Spongy” Placenta
I had my follow up anatomy scan yesterday and the doctor said everything was fine except I have a “spongy” placenta and it can inhibit babies growth. Have any of you had this? I need answers because now my mine is going 100MPH. I called them yesterday but the doctor was out and haven’t heard back yet. If you’ve had this, please inform me of the details. Can I go into labor sooner? Can I have an abrupted placenta? What causes it? Is it something I did? Can I fix it? Also, I am 23weeks 2days today and I have not reached viability yet, and that’s what makes me the most scared.
