Anyone know why!??

Question

I’m on birth control. Just started it about 3 weeks ago. I have about 5 more days until I take my placebo pills. I was spotting 2 days ago And had a yeast infection so I got some medicine for it. The spotting has increased to BLEEDING. If I wasn’t on birth control I’d be on my period right now getting off in a couple days  Could I still be having my period right now? Or is something wrong?

Also, it's been a couple years since I've been on the pill, but I'm 99% sure that you are supposed to start birth control on the first day of your cycle.
Is it possible that you started somewhere in between the beginning and end of your menstrual cycle?

Since you just started, I would assume that your body just isn't accustomed to the BC cycle. It should be on schedule for your next cycle.
I would still give your doctor a call to see what they have to say.

You just started birth control. It’s just side effects, probably. I started bc after being off of it for a while and spotted a week before my expected period and then had brown discharge the whole week and then my period
