2nd Cerclage

Had my appointment with at MFM today following my 2nd cerclage, since the first failed after 5 days and my membranes were bulging past the stitch. Everything is great, the stitch is holding tight at nearly 4cm, everything is where it’s supposed to be and cervix is closed.

However I’m a little nervous, I’m 23+5 and MFM said I don’t need to follow up with her again unless I begin to have contractions, bleed, or my waters break. She said i would just continue my regular appointments with my ob..

The appointment today definitely gave me a little more confidence, just wish I continued to have exams biweekly for peace of mind. 😔
