Is it hard to move out?

I’m 17 and still on the fence about moving out. I don’t have anything in savings atm and I live in central Illinois and need to live around my community college that I’ll be going to next fall. I got a full ride scholarship for soccer so I don’t know how busy I would be in the spring, which could affect my work and income. I’d likely only make minimum wage. I would just really like to have my own place but I’m not sure if I should just save my money and stay at home for two years or try to be independent. Would it be hard to keep up rent? How much rent would I be able to pay without starving with a minimum wage job?
