saw my OB today and heard my babies heart beat for the first time through a fetal heart beat monitor. the NP told me not to be alarmed if we didn't find a heart beat it was early and baby was very small, sometimes they didn't pick up the heart beat with the machine until 10 or 14w. at first I thought she wouldn't find it seemed to take forever....but then, there it was!!! the most beautiful sound I've ever heard, our little peanuts heart beat!! She said, "well momma, there it is!" with tears in my eyes I asked in complete disbelief, "is that the babies heart beat?" she said it sure is and I just laid there smiling with tears listening to my little miracles heart thumping away. She said it was a good strong heart beat at 180. OH MY GOSH LADIES THERE'S ACTUALLY A BABY IN MY TUMMY!!!!! I wanna dance!!! lol
