Who would you erase, if anyone, and why?

I started thinking about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind today. If you haven't seen the movie, I recommend it. Definitely makes you think. Anywho. Point of the movie is: you can completely erase someone from your mind, like you've never met them. Erase every piece of them. You pay to have the procedure done, and you don't remember them anymore. They even remove all momentos that you ever knew them. So, if you could erase someone forever from your mind, who would you erase and why? For me...I don't know that I could go through with it, but if I had to pick one single person, it would be my ex Tyler. I'm currently on good terms with him which is why I don't know if I could. I've gone through so much heartbreak with him though and I know inevitably, I will get hurt by him again. It's just a matter of time. I've loved him harder than I've ever loved another person. I think if I were to erase him and never know what that feels like I may have a better shot at finding someone who makes me moderately happy, but won't break my heart. I might get a chance to actually live out the life I want instead of being hung up on someone who just keeps breaking my heart.
