It’s fine! I’m doing BLW and my girl gets cheese and yogurt and such. Her ped says it’s fine, just don’t give straight up cows milk in a cup for them to drink yet. But things with milk in them are fine

My daughter 7.5 months (BLW) gets milk products in her food too. If she is not lactose intolerant it’s fine. But as said earlier, don’t give it as a drink. The reason is it is not suppose to replace breast milk/formula.

Dairy is fine for an 8 month old. Too much may upset their belly. It’s not that they can’t have cows milk it’s that you cannot replace a feeding of breast milk or formula with a bottle or cup of cows milk because it doesn’t have all the nutrients that B/formula do.
