Hey guys! I've been married over 2 yrs to my wonderful husband. He had been married before and divorced once he found out his wife had been cheating on him.. I've had a couple of sexual relationships in the past before my husband. I work with my OB/GYN, and this week I had an irritation just slightly on the inside of my vagina.. I got him to look at it, he said it looked fine. Asked if I wanted to test for HSV just in case, I immediately said yes!! I've never had an outbreak like shows up on google and the kind of out breaks I see on my patients in the clinic. I'm pretty sure I have HSV1 because I use to get ulcer type sores in my mouth growing up. Never on the outside of my lips. I'm pretty nervous about the blood work and scared that I might have HSV2 in my vaginal area.. what advice do you have on how to approach my husband and tell him about this? My worst fear is that he will think I cheated or that I'm nasty and want a divorce. We have been TTC for 18 months for our first baby. Thank y'all!
