Partner is really into my pregnancy body. Is that a thing or is he just being nice?

My guy is crazy about my changing body, sort of entranced by it. He always stops mid sentence when I’m changing and tells me up and down that I look amazing. Is that normal? He seems to really mean it, but it’s strange to me. Im 12 weeks and, to be honest, I’m pretty insecure/embarrassed about my farty, lumpy, expanding body 😂 Is he just being nice because he knows I’m feeling insecure, or is this a thing that happens to guys when they’re in love with pregnant lady?
