Braces?

I’m 14 weeks pregnant & i need braces ive been needed them but i was scared to go because of harm to the child? Is it safe?

Just make sure you let them know you are pregnant and they will take good care of you! They will make sure not to give you any medicine you can't have, etc.

It’s it mandatory that you get them right now? The only concern would be when they give you x rays before to check, but tell them you’re pregnant and they’ll cover you with that lead blanket thing.

I'm 35 weeks and I got 2 of my wisdom teeth pulled a few weeks ago. My doctor wrote them a letter explaining what I can and cannot have...and they took extra precautions with the xrays.

My uncle is a dentist and he said that for me, all I’d need is a note from my OB stating I’m pregnant and the dentist would know what to do. Not sure about braces but I’m sure it’s the same thing
