Promise Ring🖤

I’ve known my current boyfriend for over 7 years. We went to high school together and went to the same community college together. Those 7 years were pretty normal, we’d talk to each other occasionally (because he kept breaking his phone) but he was always happy to talk to me.

He started working at walmart around the time we graduated high school (2013) and I’d always go to Walmart to see him (but sometimes I’d be too scared to actually say hello😂).

Fast forward to 2016 and I transferred to a university and he was still at the community college and working at walmart. We’d still talk to each other as if we knew each other since we were little.

Around December 1st of 2016 I was in a really bad place. I just got out of a relationship and was struggling with self harm. He was the first person I called to talk to all night, we even fell asleep on the phone. We had hung out previously around thanksgiving, for the first time ever🤷🏻‍♀️😂

December 26th we made it official. One month after we had hung out the first time. I was over the moon about him and honestly I still question how I got so lucky.

In February, he gave me a promise ring for Valentines Day. Now I know we had only been dating for almost 2 months but I knew he was the one for me. He’s perfect. And he spent over $500 on me just for Valentine’s Day. Nobody had ever spent that much on me ever.

Fast forward to June 28, I found out I was pregnant. I waited until July 1 to tell him, the day we moved into our duplex apartment together.

Now it’s almost been a whole year since we started dating. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have had the love of my life around me for over 7 years and not know it.

March 2018 we’ll be welcoming our sweet little Evelyn Jean into the world💕👶🏻
