Anyone buy one before? Opinions? Thanks in advance!

I bought one for my son last year and the coolest part was the hatching.  After that it needed to be "raised" and my son (4) got sick of that part pretty fast, so I did it.  He says he loves it even though he plays with it very rarely.  Because he still says he loves it and how cool the hatching was I feel like it was worth it.

I have not bought one for my children but I know friends who have, and said it was a waste. Besides hatching it doesn’t do much of anything after. Their kids played with it for like 3 days and then never touched it again. It is basically an overpriced furby.
