Age to take toddler to the park?

How old was your toddler when you took him/her to the park for the first time? My LO is one and was thinking about taking her to the park to try out the slides but thought what if it scares her? Maybe she's still too little. TIA

Just let her explore at her own pace, and bring her to the playgrounds made specifically for young kids. You'll know soon enough if she's too young or not 😊

My son was coming up on a year my daughter was less than 6 months

We habe been going since he was 5 months old. At one he goes down the big kid slides by himself (we catch him at the bottom)... he has no fear!

I first took my son to the park around 1 when he started to walk. He loves it but when they’re that young be very cautious!

We took our son when he was 8 months old, that’s when it got warm enough again, he loved the swings at that age. A couple months later we sat him in our laps for the slide, he was scared at first but grew to love it after a couple tries.

A park with playground? About 16 mo. But we have a pretty big back yard. I'd take my son out with the dog to play and hang out when he was around 11 mo. That's when the weather got nice after cold wet spring and when he started walking rather than crawling. We'd go out almost everyday in the summer.
