Birthday drama - send help

So my ex boyfriend invited a small group of mates to go out for his birthday and I’m invited. We’re kind of in awkward territory as he acted like I didn’t exist as soon as we broke up to prove to his now girlfriend that there was nothing between us anymore so we sometimes talk but not regularly. I have no idea whether I should go and it could be potentially awkies or not go and look like I’m still hung up over it. PLEASE HELP!
