Can’t eat meat?? How did you get protein??
I used to love meat especially chicken. I’m now almost 14 weeks and I can’t stand the thought of meat... especially chicken. I heard this is pretty common. My question is how did you get the needed protein?? Protein powder?? I hate peanut butter as much as I want to like it. I’m really worried that baby isn’t getting enough protein! Advice would be appreciated!
Edit: Apparently I pissed of vegetarians by saying it’s hard to get the full amount of protein without eating meat- which is a very hard thing to do for most people and as I’ve read is also a hard thing for vegetarians and vegans when they first switch over. Im real annoyed at the rude replies I have gotten on this as someone just asking for help. I had a major allergic reaction about a week ago to something I don’t know what yet that is still causing me problems. Because of this I can’t get protein through some of the other sources I have been using. Dairy has been harder but still usually doable and eggs have been a no go. I thought this place was a community for support and help. I’m trying to like nuts because I know it’s a good source of protein but I’ve never been able to do them (which I blame on my sister being severely allergic and us never having them in the house growing up). But it makes me queasy. I came here for advice from people who’ve had the same aversions while pregnant.
