Do you consider a woman to be a mother if she has only been pregnant & never give birth/raising a child??

There are different types of moms. Moms that raise their kids, moms that birthed their kids, and moms that lost their kids.

To me, no. I've been pregnant twice but have no children. I don't consider myself a mother at all. 
This is very subjective, though. A woman who desperately tried for a pregnancy and then sadly lost it could consider herself a mother if that's how she felt.

"A mother is not defined by the number of children you can see, but by the love she holds in her heart." I believe any woman who has conceived and loved their baby with all their heart, even if they lost the child they're still a mother.

If she got pregnant she was a mother and technically still is.
If she lost her baby or whatever she chose just because she didn’t raise one doesn’t mean she’s not a mom,

I would never tell a woman she's not a mother. There are many women who've taken on the role of mother and never been pregnant. Not my business anyway.

I think some can. When someone gets pregnant that mother instinct or mindset sets in for some. People start restricting their diet, changing their lifestyle, already caring for this future child of theirs while in womb. So if someone wants to say they were a parent because they were pregnant I have no issues.

Mmn not sure but I think it’s for them to decide? Like, even when talking about it I just realised I do tend to refer to them as mothers without thinking about it so maybe that answers the question, but mothers who’ve lost a child before it’s born would make sense to call themselves a mother to me, but like someone who didn’t give birth or raise a child because they didn’t actually want to (no shame in that) then I’d be more likely to not think of them as a mother, and I’d assume they’d probably prefer that?

Depends on the individual and what they believe. It doesn't hurt anyone if someone would like to be known as a mum or dad or neither, it's not taking away from anyone else's experience

I have miscarried but I do not consider myself a mother. I also have adopted siblings and I don’t consider their bios mother/father just because they gave birth or are biological to them. It takes so much more to me to be a mother than just giving birth.
