Recently my boyfriend has found a new love.... his games console! He Ignores me when I am with him, he doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m here. Tonight he’s been sitting on his Xbox for 8 hours, knowing I’m trying to sleep but talking to his friends on the head set. I feel no connection to him anymore, and our relationship is struggling! I’m starting to really resent him because I know it is his fault!!! What should I do?

😂😂😂😂 my boyfriend is a gamer too! The sad part is I’m the one who bought his PlayStation 4 😌....talk with him about how you feel. My boyfriend works a regular 9-5 so on his days off I expect one day to be spent with me and the other I let him play without being angry. Once you accept that that’s his passion or something he really likes you’ll get over it and you guys will find time around (:

Eight hours chatting on his headset.... much of that while you’re next to him in bed, trying to sleep ...... ?? That is ridiculously, absurdly, unbelievably selfish.
Does he not realize you’re trying to get to bed....?  
I don’t know what kind of excuse he could possibly have for being so disrespectful.  
But do not - under any circumstances - let that go unaddressed!!! It is seriously bad behavior and you have to nip that shit in the bud.

I’m a gamer too so we played together but try to talk to him about you and him time .. and make him play the game when you are sleeping or something .. move the game in another room so you can sleep

I get involved with my boyfriends games. He loves playing xbox and if that’s what he loves to do then you can bet your sweet ass I’m gonna be sitting here watching him. (He’s actually playing right now!) if he does good I give him a high five and a fist bump. I think he gets irritated with all my questions but I just do what I can to spend time with him. 💁🏼💕

if he refuses to spend actual time with you then yes leave him. make it known that you dont want him playing games all the time and if you have and he hasnt listened then he cares more about his games than maintaining his relationship
