How did you feel after glucose test?

I’m 27 weeks and I did my glucose test today. Only had the option of orange or fruit punch.. so fruit punch it was.. the drink was much smaller than I thought and not great tasting but not nearly as horrible as I’ve heard/read about either..
But just curious.. did you have side effects afterwards? What were they? How long did they last?
Also, how long until you got your test results back?

I felt fine. I failed so I got a call the next day. if you pass they don't call. no news is good news.

I was completely exhausted, nauseated all day, couldn't keep food down, light-headed to the point that I didn't stand unless I had to pee. I went to bed at 6pm and slept until 10 am. I definitely passed. No gestational diabetes here, so side effects can definitely be misleading. They called me the next day even though I passed just because they know with my anxiety disorder it would be extremely stressful for me not to know until my next appointment.

I felt completely normal. Doctor told me the people who feel sick usually fail... but idk how true that is. I read the bottle that the sugar drink comes in and it’s the same amount of sugar as a can of soda. If you’re used to soda or have a sweet tooth your body shouldnt notice lol.

I felt really dizzy, nauseous & felt like I was going to pass out for the first half hour after finishing the drink, but by the time the nurse had collected me to do the blood draw I felt fine. Was kinda sleepy afterwards but mostly felt normal. It took a week for them to call me to say I had passed.

I had my results right after they drew blood, then puked in the parking lot and was fine

I got a nose bleed a couple hours after and I’m blaming that just because I haven’t had a nosebleed since I was like nine.. idk tho..

I just felt nauseated for about 15-20 minutes after drinking it.

I was fine. Maybe felt a taaaaad bit nauseous, but didn't let myself dwell on it.
