5 days late- don't want a let down!!!

Been actively ttc for over a year with no luck. My husband and I have been tested and have nothing "wrong". This month I am currently 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test the day my period was due and it was negative. Deflated once again. BUT this time my period still hasn't arrived. I am on cycle day 34 and my mind is playing some serious tricks on me!!! Truthfully I have no other symptoms. I really don't want to test again and get ANOTHER negative. What do my ttc sisters think??? I f-ing hate this wait!!!
