VBAC Advice ???

Question

Any of ladies on here had a VBAC (Viginal Birth After C Section) ?? If so, how was your experience ?
I had my son 4 years ago emergency c section due to preeclampsia. I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and still deciding to either have a c section again or try vbac.. Any Advice ??

You should talk to your doctor to see if they are even willing to do that. If they say yes, talk about the pro's and cons and what you should expect.

My Dr approved me for a vbac but I had 2 vaginal births prior to my c section, so they said my probability of rupture is lower.

All i know is my doctor says you have to not be pregnant for 3 years for them to be more successful. It takes a longer time for the body to heal than you’d think. I’m having a repeat c section because my babies are so close together and I’m also by done having kids. Br I think my third child i am going to wait a little longer and try for a VBAC.

I had a csection 3 years ago because daughter was Breech. I’m due 12/31 and am trying for a VBAC. My doctor said it depends on multiple factors and has told me to be prepared for possible csection again. There are certain meds they can’t give like the ones to soften the cervix but thankfully at my appointment last week my cervix was “very soft” and dilated to 1 cm. I’m 37 weeks yesterday and hoping she decides to come on her own. Lots of contractions so fingers crossed.

I've never had one, but I know most doctors will not do that. there can be a lot of problems involved. it's best to discuss this kinda thing with your doctor.
