Is this Offensive? (Please comment your reasoning).

This is a very controversial topic in my household  currently.  

You have company staying semi-long term at your house. You consider this company to be family.  

You come home from work and see that they have cleaned parts of your kitchen. Cleaned up dirty pots that were left out from dinner the night before. Put away left overs from a meal made that morning for your company potluck. And cleaned the refrigerator of some spills that both you, and your company, have made in the compartments of the fridge. They also organized the fridge so that things fit better, and there is empty space available that there wasn't before.

What is your initial reaction?

Would it change your opinion or feelings if they warned you before you got home? ..or if they explained that they meant it with the best of intentions and just tried to clean up a mess they made.
