RSV and now Pneumonia
My son got diagnosed with RSV last week, something we’re all too familiar with. He spent 4 days in the PICU for RSV when he was 3 months old last year. We thought he was better, and this morning he woke up with a 102.6 fever. I called his pediatrician, and he wanted us to come in. When we saw him, and then he sent us to the ER on suspicions that he had pneumonia. Sure enough, they did a chest x-ray and listened to him and he has it in his right lung.
He’s been super lethargic today, and he’s just very sick. I hate seeing my baby like this. Looking for words of encouragement, I’m so beat.
