TTC after miscarriage

So I just had a miscarriage September 29, and everything is as close to "back to normal" as it can be now. My husband and I aren't going above and beyond TTC, but we're still hoping it happens within the next year. My question is: Is it too early to try for another baby? Should I wait it out a little longer? What are some personal suggestions on fertility boosting and healthy egg implantation? I can't help but worry about having another miscarriage if I do get pregnant again.
