Pumping 101? Nursing after pumping at work

Question

If I go 4 hours at work without pumping and then nurse as soon as I get home on one side - do I pump the other breast ?
I hadn’t been and now after only being back at work a little I’m noticing lower milk supply. Trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong ☹️
Also any pumping 101  resource you’ve found helpful - I feel so clueless and now I’m nervous and upset I’m screwing up my supply 😔😞

I would if i were you pump as soon as you get home the side you dont feed on and if your LO doesnt empty the other breast that one too . They say not to go over 4 hours . Good luck !

Also if you can to increase your milk supply pump a little more often 👍🏻 massage your breasts while pumping and double pump if you can( both breast at the same time ) much easier . A hands free bra helps . Some ladies suggested putting heating pads on the breasts to help the milk flow .
