How long should I wait to tell my doctor I’m  pregnant? I had a faint vfl this morning and last night

Have you missed your period yet? I would test the day it’s due and then call the doctor.

I waited a week before scheduling an appt with a pregnancy clinic (we just moved and my insurance wasn’t valid yet). I was 5+3 and the clinic scheduled me for an ultrasound 3 weeks later. I called and scheduled an appt with a dr accepting new patients after that and the earliest they could get me in was 15w. From what I’ve seen in this community most women, unless high risk, call around their bfp date but don’t get scheduled to be seen by their dr for the first time until 8-12 weeks.

Contact your dr. They let you know when to come in to be seen. Mine waited a few days than started blood work to confirm. I called mine the day of my missed period after 2 consecutive days of positive test! Good luck 🍀

You should tell your doctor immediately. If he or she prescribes certain medications it can harm the baby.
