HCG Shots

Hi, I have pcos, my husband and I have been ttc for about 6 years now. I have been taking progesterone on the 17th day of my cycle for 10 days, once my cycle starts on day 3-7 I'm taking chlomid. Then going to have an ultrasound done on day 12 to see if a dominant folicle develops. I have been doing this for 3 months now with no luck. I have an appointment in January with my doctor, and the next step is to start hcg shots. Has anyone with PCOS had success with HCG shots? any advice is much appreciated.
