brca possibility

so i did the blood test for the brca gene mutation and my results and doctor said i have a VUS (variant of unknown significance). doc said i should just do my mamograms as i should and that was about it. is there anyone that has had a VUS? ive done research and ive read that a VUS could be bad or not a problem at all. i have a strong strong family history of ovarian and breast cancer. i lost my mother at 15, i just dont want my children to go thru what i did. im thinking about callibg another doctor. just knowing that theres something unknown and different nakes me feel like somethings off? idk
